D2 Survivors download
Get the original game from its developer, framara. Choose the Windows or Apple silicon Mac app, or play in a desktop browser using your own Diablo II files.
Download from the developer
Opens the developer’s website in a new tab. Under Get desktop app, choose Windows or Mac. D2Survivors.com is an independent guide; the developer supplies and updates the app. We do not host installers or the original Diablo II files.
Browser or desktop app?

These platform details come from the developer’s FAQ, not a full installation test on every system. Phone play is not currently supported by that FAQ. The guides remain readable on phones.
You still need your own game files
Both options require your own Diablo II with Lord of Destruction, patch 1.14, or Diablo II: Resurrected installation. Downloading the D2 Survivors app does not include those files. According to the developer, they are processed locally rather than uploaded.
Choose the folder containing your game data, not just an executable or shortcut. Follow the file setup guide for the classic MPQ checklist and D2R or Steam folder selection.
Bring your save before switching
Browser and app storage are separate. Opening the app, another browser or the original website does not automatically move a save. Export a backup using the game’s SAVES menu when available; the FAQ also calls this Options → Transfer Save. Use the interface shown by your version.
Keep the source backup and any existing destination save before importing. Check the hero, level, equipment and Continue at the destination before abandoning the original. See save transfers.
If setup stops or files will not copy
Start with the correct installation folder, then follow file-import troubleshooting. A recent repair for one D2R error is not proof that every Windows extraction problem is fixed. For “Not a DCC file,” keep the exact error and leave existing saves intact.
